Acceptance of Terms

By installing the Pocketit browser extension or using the Pocketit web dashboard, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension and stop using the service.

Description of Service

Pocketit is a browser extension and companion web app that allows you to capture screenshots, videos, region captures, and bookmarks from web pages, saving them directly to your personal Google Drive. Pocketit does not operate its own storage — all content is saved exclusively to your own Google account.

Google Account & Drive Access

  • You must have a valid Google account to use Pocketit. By signing in, you grant Pocketit permission to create and manage files within a dedicated Pocketit/ folder in your Google Drive.
  • Pocketit will never access, modify, or delete files outside the Pocketit folder in your Drive.
  • You can revoke Pocketit's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Pocketit to:
  • Capture or store content that infringes on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Capture content from websites in violation of their terms of service.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension or dashboard.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of everything you capture with Pocketit. Because all content is stored in your own Google Drive, Pocketit has no rights over your captures. You are solely responsible for the content you save.

No Warranty

Pocketit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the service will meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pocketit and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data stored in Google Drive.

Termination

You may stop using Pocketit at any time by uninstalling the extension and revoking Google Drive access. We reserve the right to suspend access to the dashboard for violations of these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Pocketit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
